Take a scenic drive through the picturesque Adelaide Hills and in to the historic township of Hahndorf.

On the edge of town, a stop at Beerenberg Farm shop will have the tastebuds tingling as you hear about this 6th generation family business and have a chance to taste some of their delicious sauces, condiments and jams.

Hahndorf itself is a contemporary village proud of its German heritage still visible in its traditional streetscape with smallgoods, bakeries, cuckoo clocks, wooden folk art and German-style pubs.

Some free time here will give you a chance to stroll the tree-lined main street and discover shops, galleries and studios, a cheese maker, leathersmith, jeweller, candle makers, a craft brewery, winery cellar doors, gin distillery, chocolatier, traditional sweet shops, restaurants and cafés.

Enjoy a two-course lunch at one of this villages most popular restaurants.

Time next to get that happy snap at Mount Lofty Summit; the peak of the Mount Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide Hills. The summit provides spectacular panoramic views across Adelaide's city skyline to the coast and is the perfect place for a picture. Each year more than 350,000 people visit the Summit which rises more than 710 metres above sea level.

The award-winning Cleland Wildlife Park is one of South Australia’s must-see attractions. Located only 12km from Adelaide CBD in a beautiful natural bushland setting, Cleland offers visitor’s a range of opportunities to discover over 130 species of Australian wildlife.

Many animals are free-roaming in the 35-hectare park, creating wonderful impromptu chances to touch and interact with the native wildlife. You can even hold a koala and have this special experience captured with a souvenir photo (conditional & additional fees apply).
